The video open that Keyframe created for the University of Georgia Women’s Basketball team was recently selected as the best in the nation for the 2007-08 season by the National Association of Collegiate Marketing and Administration (NACMA).
“I’ve felt like our intro videos over the past several seasons have been very well done but this year’s was exceptional. This recognition is a direct reflection of the outstanding efforts of our marketing and promotions staff,” head coach Andy Landers told GeorgiaDogs.com.
The site reported that Keyframe’s open won the Gold Medal in Group 1 – the largest classification – of NACMA’s single video board segment.
“We are very pleased and very proud,” said Emily Deitz, Director of Promotions for the University of Georgia’s Athletic Association. “We enjoyed working with Keyframe and going through the creative process; and we’re glad that the open was ultimately selected as the best in the nation.”
The open, titled the ‘Women’s Basketball Tradition Video,’ played prior to each home game at Stegeman Coliseum and highlighted current Bulldog players accompanied by video graphics of the team’s past accolades.
“The impact of the video is the result of several factors,” said Jason Jones, Keyframe Video Editor on the project. “It included a standout concept to begin with, a professional HD shoot that yielded superb photography, good song choice and great title designs to enhance a first-rate edit. We really lucked out at every step along the way and it’s something that can make everyone involved proud.”
The attitude of the video set a benchmark of excellence for the players and a standard of excitement for the fans before each and every home game.
