In addition to a Daktronics display installation, Keyframe partnered with the University of Mississippi, better known as Ole Miss, for the 2008-09 Football season.
Keyframe provided full football content which included a video highlight open in addition to several crowd prompts, player headshots, game match-ups and even ‘lower third’ animations.
“The content looked amazing,” said Steph Stubkjaer, Daktronics Control Systems Trainer working with Ole Miss. “The open that Keyframe created was all encompassing, integrating text with video highlights and keeping everything perfectly in sync with the music. Linking that with the ribbon boards and it created an energizing environment that could grab viewers and pull them into the production. Watching everything happen all at once just pumps you up and pulls you into the game-day experience. The people at Ole Miss thought it was fantastic.”
Andy Smith, Keyframe’s Art Director, also commented on the project. “The input from Ole Miss was really good and helped the creation process move along smoothly from a style, creative direction standpoint. Our digital artists did a great job of taking the concepts and creating a cohesive package. In the end, Ole Miss was really happy with it and requested little to no revisions on the work we provided. Overall, we were really pleased with the outcome.”
Shane Sanford, Director of Internet Services & Graphic Design for Ole Miss Sports Properties had this to say:
“The content Keyframe provided was literally the best thing we’ve done in several years. We sent them some ideas and they hit every aspect of what we were looking to do.
“I had several reactions from people that were particularly impressed with the open and I think it was by far the best thing that came about. It was my main focus and I had specific things in mind for it. From the first conference call to seeing it come to fruition, it was pretty much flawless and with very few revisions it fit what I had in my mind’s eye.
“The 3D design element of our logo and the team-versus-team spots were also very well done.
“I had an extremely great experience working with Eric Vasgaard, Keyframe’s Account Executive, and his team. I was working with a limited budget and they were very open to my ideas and opinions, they took a huge burden off my shoulders.
“It was literally A+ work and they pulled it off very well.”
