Keyframe produced a variety of creative content for MLB’s Texas Rangers for home games at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington during the 2009 baseball season. Content came in the form of statistical layouts, crowd prompts, sponsor ads, a unique look for the outfield fence display, backgrounds, colors, fonts and text.

“Everyone at Keyframe really enjoyed working with the Chuck Morgan of the Texas Rangers on this project,” said Keyframe Art Director Jordon Weideman. “The variety of styles the Rangers wanted gave us the opportunity to create an assortment of content to enhance the fan experience at the ballpark. The main objective for this project was that there was not one overall style, but that the style fit the spot. Projects varied from high energy starting line ups and headshots to flashy, fun player specific spots as well as real time game scoring and statistical frames.

“One of the unique things we did for the Out of Town scoring display was that we kept the look of a traditional slide-in manual scoring display with the added functionality of state of the art LED scoring and real time data. Sponsorship ads were another large part of what we did for the Rangers, we worked closely with the sales team at the Rangers and directly with their sponsors to create effective eye catching ads that entertain and engage the fans. Again working with the Rangers was a lot of fun and I think everyone involved had a great experience.”

The outcome can best be described in the words of Chuck Morgan, Vice President, In-Park Entertainment for the Texas Rangers:

“It was outstanding. It changed the entire atmosphere of the ballpark. They included tons of information on our out-of-town board and outfield fence board that looks great.”
